We are excited to announce Zabbix SIA, the newest member of our Charm Partner Programme. This programme lets solution providers make best use of Canonical’s award-winning open source cloud orchestration tool, Juju, which allows them to: demo their product in minutes; instantly integrate it into hundreds of other solutions; scale at the click of button; share blueprint deployments in a drag-and-drop environment; and deliver instant solutions.
Zabbix is an enterprise-class open source distributed monitoring solution designed to monitor and track performance and availability of network servers, devices, services and other IT resources. Zabbix allows administrators to recognise server and device problems within a short period of time and therefore reduces the system downtime and risk of system failure. Some of the largest telecommunication, financial, educational, retail, healthcare, and government companies from around the world are among the company’s clients, several of them being on the Fortune 500 list for the year 2012. “We’re excited to join the Ubuntu cloud ecosystem, and look forward to the benefits it will deliver us and our customers,” says Alexei Vladishev, owner and CEO of Zabbix SIA.
In addition to making Zabbix deployable through Juju, development is already underway on a concept of autoscaling architecture for solutions deployed with Juju, which was recently shown at the SDN and NFV conference in Nice, France. This allows any solution deployed with Juju to be auto-scalable at low cost and with limited development work.
